ITT operates through three Value Centers (business units):
Industrial Process designs and manufactures pumps, valves, monitoring and control systems, water treatment and aftermarket services for the chemical, oil and gas, mining and other industrial process markets, as well as global service capabilities;
Motion Technologies designs and manufactures brake pads, shock absorbers and sealing solutions for the automotive and rail markets;
Connect and Control Technologies designs and manufactures harsh-environment connectors and critical energy absorption and flow control components primarily for the aerospace, defense and industrial markets.
Using a wide range of skills and knowledge to drive the department’s strategic objectives, the Benefits Analyst will be primarily responsible for HR/Benefits data support. This key team member will operate with the utmost discretion as an analytical thinker who will process a considerable amount of confidential and sensitive information in support of systems, integrations and technical issues across the employee benefits landscape.
Administration & Compliance
Support employee leave of absence management program, including short and long-term disability and leave mandated by the American’s With Disabilities Act (ADA). Some knowledge of Statutory Disability and Family Leave Laws
Manage vendor billing for payment via purchase order, trust, and 401(k) ERISA account
Compiles, analyzes and reports data in support of strategic benefits planning and evaluation. Reporting and information delivery capability to the Benefits team includes plan financials, performance metrics, and statistical summaries both routine and ad-hoc.
Monitors eligibility, limitations, and restrictions of plan participation and ensures compliance with both plan provisions and government requirements
Support annual plan audits, 5500 filings, Summary Annual Report distributions; manage discrimination testing, ensure plan compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Main point of contact for customer service and troubleshooting issues with third party vendors
Provides guidance and counsel to employees, HR Business Partners, HR Service Center, Payroll, HRIS, IT, and Timekeeping on the requirements and provisions of benefit programs and assists with the resolution of potential problems
Liaison with stakeholders to perform root cause analysis, and implement process improvements quickly, efficiently and effectively. May include preparation of training materials.
Managing Functional & External Interdependencies
Primarily responsible for coordinating and monitoring workflow within benefit systems. Assess trends regarding workflow and address with relevant target audience. Complete impact analysis and create process improvement recommendations for integration workflow as well as end-to-end process.
Develops and administers ongoing quality standards and routine audits to ensure data integrity within systems.
Assist in the development of project plans and costs estimates.
Assist with projects that affect HRIS and Benefits system integrations, including application enhancements, upgrades, new functionality and deployment. Activities may include analyzing business requirements, configuration updates, testing, form and template design, process documentation and deployment.

Skills and Experience:
BA/BS or demonstrated experience in one of the following: Human Resources, Benefits or Management Information Systems
2-5 years’ experience in benefit space including experience supporting systems, integrations, knowledge of benefit programs, including flexible benefit programs, retirement plans. Some ERISA knowledge helpful
Experience working in Human Resources or related field with an emphasis in business or finance
Proficient in detailed project plan development and management with budget oversight and resource management
Excellent organizational skills; time management, and precise attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, strong customer service and analytical skills
Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills required – must be able to think through interdependencies and long-term implications
Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers of all organization levels – ability to work as an individual contributor and collaboratively as a team member
