Located in West Nyack, NY the Eastern Territorial Headquarters has an opportunity for an Assets/ Real Estate Analyst in the Property Department.
This individual will review, analyze, and prepare proposals for acquisitions and sales of real estate property for Territorial Property Council review. The Analyst will manage the collection, recording and safeguarding of legal documents for The Salvation Army owned properties; update and maintain the Property Department Capital Database of owned properties; review, verify and process Adjustment to Real Estate Capitalization forms to maintain current capitalization for properties.
Additionally, this individual will assist the Finance Department with fiscal year closing; and oversee the process of tax exemption applications, tax exemption renewal applications and property registrations for appropriate properties.
· Associate Degree or equivalent
· 1-3 years of related experience
· Notary Public license
· Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
· Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
