Professional Teleconcepts Purchaser/Logistics/Wireless in Watertown, New York


Job Summary: We are looking for a purchaser to support our Wireless Construction Division and our Wireline Carrier Division.

Essential Tasks:

  • Issue purchase orders to supplier

  • Track material to arrive on time

  • Find and qualify new material suppliers

  • Meet with suppliers to review performance and improve the supply chain

  • Additional tasks as assigned by manager

Skills & Requirements:

  • We prefer someone who is familiar with the wireless cellular communication industry, but this is not a requirement.

  • We need someone with excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

  • Demonstrate good computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

  • A familiarity with Timberline and Solomon purchasing modules is preferred

  • Logistics experience a plus

  • An ability to handle and resolve recurring problems in your normal course of work

  • An ability to establish priorities and work independently
