AHRC New York City’s Staten Island Preparatory in Staten Island is seeking Behavior Trainer Assistants to join their team! Under the direction of the Behavior Trainer, the Behavior Trainer Assistant will

  • Implement an intensive behavioral model individually and/or in a group based on the theories of applied behavior analysis and/or TEACCH principles, in accordance with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

  • Participate in program planning and communicate observations to Behavior Trainer and other team members.

AHRC's Staten Island Prep is located in the Tottenville section of Staten Island and is accessible via Public Transportation. Position Requirements

  • BA preferred. 60 college credits in Psychology, Education or related fields required.

  • New York State Certification as Teaching Assistant Level I or higher required
