In this role, you will be tasked with the support of the applications that are critical to our Rochester Film and Chemistry manufacturing sites. Position would be responsible for learning our legacy systems and providing ongoing support including general changes, upgrades and design for complete replacements where warranted. Ability to interface to other system layers is critical to this job including interfaces to machine control, SAP ERP system and others. This person would learn from others but also be expected to be a self-starter and be able to look for opportunities for improvement in our overall applications portfolio. Experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment would be very helpful and certainly the ability to deal with multiple simultaneous tasks and priorities.


  • As part of overall team, help to provide application support in a 7x24 manufacturing environment

  • Design and Development of new/redesigned applications for manufacturing

  • Cross-Functional coordination with other areas of WWIS/IT and business

  • Coordination of individual aspects related to corporate mandated projects

  • Cross-Training on older applications aimed at improvement where possible


  • .NET (VB.NET, ASP.NET, Web Services)

  • SQL Server

  • C++

  • SAP exposure is a plus

  • Oracle DB is a plus but not mandatory

  • O365 expertise (Excel VBA) is a plus


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or similar) or equivalent work experience
