Heritage Christian Services Child Care Finance Manager in Rochester, New York


This position works to promote and support the mission, vision and values or Heritage Christian Services, Inc. by supporting the Expressive Beginning Child Care Centers.


Monthly accounting for Expressive Beginnings Child Care Center:

  • Post weekly tuition

  • Pick up and prepare weekly deposits

  • Enter weekly ACH's

  • Send and reconcile monthly DSS billings

  • Approve check requests and monthly bills

  • Reconcile monthly Wegman's and credit card expense reports

  • Post monthly journal entries

  • Prepare quarterly reconciliations for various accounts (cash, prepaid, AR's)

  • Communicate with center directors and famiies as neccesary


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance with 2 years of related experience

  • Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Great Plains, Excel and Access database

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team and across departments
