Kelly Services Call Center Representative - Rochester - $15/hr in Rochester, New York

You will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment.

JOB TITLE: Call Center Representative

LOCATION: Rochester, NY (remote)

PAY RATE: $15/hr

ASSIGNMENT DATES: November 2nd- February 2nd (seasonal work with a potential to be extended)

ONSITE TRAINING: M-F 8:30am-5pm

REMOTE SHIFT: M-F 1130am-8pm

Highly Preferred but not required: Bilingual -- Spanish/English ($0.50 increase to pay rate)

Job Summary : Seasonal work to answering a high volume of incoming calls to assist with the New York Health Benefit Exchange enrollment or profile changes during their peak time.

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls from consumers including the general public, prospective enrollees and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf in accordance with all performance standards, policy and procedures, and protocols including but not limited to the confidentiality and privacy policies.

  • Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.

  • Process new applications for health care coverage via the telephone including building tax household, household income, eligibility determinations, interpreting determinations made by the Marketplace, and enrollment into health plans.

  • Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to the established guidelines.

  • Process life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods as requested.

  • Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.

  • Facilitates translation services for non English speaking callers according to procedures.

  • Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed.

  • Attends meetings and trainings as requested and maintains up to date knowledge of all programs and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Completed High School diploma or GED required

  • Experience in an office setting or data entry experience preferred

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Strong attention to detail and respect for confidential information

  • Computer experience required

  • The ideal candidate(s) must be professional, friendly, outgoing and a team player
