Amentum Laboratory Maintenance Planner in PEARL RIVER, New York

Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a Laboratory Maintenance Planner to support our team of pharmaceutical maintenance technicians in Pearl River, NY!

Typical work hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm; hours may vary based on business demand. This position will provide administrative support to the Laboratory Instrument Support Department.

Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and update Analytical parts stock supply

  • Initiate process to order and restock supplies as needed

  • Work in EAMS database to add and update: Asset records, work orders, PM and calibration schedules, calibration test points and tolerances. Run reports to track, schedule, optimize as needed.

  • Generate and assign monthly PM and Calibration work orders

  • Add and update task plans, PM Schedules, Routes and checklists in the database as needed.

  • Review close calibration and PM work orders in the database.

  • Familiar with GxP work environment

  • Process asset notification forms (ANF) – for new assets to be added, or decommissioned. Update status, location, schedules for changes to assets

  • Distribute Preventive Maintenance and Demand Work Orders in the form of a weekly schedule and assist Supervisor and/or Leads with job coordination.

  • Collaborate with Technical Leads and Technicians to properly plan work orders including material management, task estimating for budgetary approval and customer communication.

  • Utilize CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) to record work order classification, priority, activities and trade.

  • Comply with and enforce Amentum policies and safety practices, procedures and guidelines such as job hazard analysis, lockout/tagout, and the use of PPE.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in facility maintenance, engineering or related field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience - OR - 8 years of experience industrial facilities or production maintenance related work will be considered demonstrated equivalent experience with no education.

  • In addition to education, 2 years of facility maintenance planning experience.

  • Exposure to any skilled trade.

  • Working knowledge of a CMMS such as MAXIMO, EAMS or equivalent database systems.

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.

  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in employee and subcontracted work coordination in a predictive and reliability-based facility maintenance program.

  • Experience working with a building management monitoring system.

  • Certificate or formal training from Facility Maintenance Organizations such as IFMA, AFE or BOMA.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and one-line drawings.

  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques
