Cogent Infotech Project Coordinator in NYC, New York

Job Description

Title: Project Coordinator

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 6+ Months

Scope of Work:

The Consultant's work will include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day project operations

  • Coordinate with Elderly Crime Victims Resource Center (ECVRC)

  • Develop a data tracking system

  • Coordinate and convene monthly meetings with all project partners and organize case conferences

  • Collect Office of Victim Services required data and submit progress and financial reports

  • Supervise technology specialist(s) assigned to project

  • Conduct with program evaluation by collecting data, analyzing and reporting client outcomes

  • Assist with reports as mandated by the Department of Justice

  • Coordinate biweekly project team meetings (weekly if needed by project demands)

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • A master's degree in a mental health discipline, or a license in a mental health discipline (i.e.,Licensed Master of Social Work)

  • Experience in aging, elder abuse services, and/or mental health

  • Experience managing grant projects or working in a coordinator role

  • Must have a computer, access to the internet, and be proficient with data management systems for grants and use of excel

  • Ability to work independently

  • Leadership skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

  • Critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, project management skills

  • Demonstrated skills in building and cultivating community and client relationships

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking
