Google Video Deals Specialist, Agency in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in digital advertising sales or product management.

  • Experience in video solutions in marketing and advertising

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with and/or for media or performance agencies

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and building relationships internally and externally

  • Experience in streaming/connected TV marketplace dynamics and measurement practices (OTT)

  • Experience in upfront marketplace

  • Experience working with data to identify trends and make recommendations in a customer-facing environment

You have a passion for helping manage complex agreement frameworks and supporting overarching team initiatives. Your role will be a combination of individual strategic projects, internal team support and sales exposure with top online video advertisers and agencies.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Scale individual team efforts into a uniform team approach (cross-team best practice sharing; standardizing agreement-related sales materials, etc.)

  • Support/Partner with a team of Deal Leads throughout the upfront season including pitch preparation, meeting support with top advertisers and agencies, and agreement tracking

  • Structure, negotiate, and manage display and video incentive agreements ensuring adherence to global policies/exception handling processes and managing value add approvals and agreement tracking

  • Build relationships with agency investment teams to drive successful share shift in both the upfront and scatter market
