Scope of the role:

Accountability and focus on ALL aspects of the Operations for the business within North America for the Banking Capital Markets Technology Services /Consulting Business Unit of Capgemini

Key Responsibilities

  • Design andimplement business strategies, plans and procedures for tracking, leading andimproving various functions of the operations of the BCM BU

  • Measure theeffectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provide timely, accurateand complete reports on the operating condition of the business unit and createnew strategic global efficiencies

  • Collaborate withthe management team to develop and implement plans for the operationalinfrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate therapid growth objectives

  • Translate strategyinto actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implementorganization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operatingplanning

  • Represent the firmwith clients, investors, vendors and business partners as needed

  • Help as needed indiversity initiatives, Women in Leadership Development and other Mentoring/Training programs

  • Partner closelywith the offshore and global delivery centres located around the world to assess/price solutions and delivery capabilities across BCM business unit

  • Ensure effectiverecruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, andretention

  • Ensure Delivery,Staffing, Procurement, Shared Services, all aspects internally in support ofthe CEO to lead and drive the business forward in the most effective andinnovative way possible

ProfessionalQualifications

  • 15 years of leadership experience in a professionalservices environment

  • Prior COO / operations experience within the Banking CapitalMarkets Industry, outsourcing and/or professional services organization

  • Understanding of a global complex environment

  • Expertise in the delivery operations, to includedelivery, finance and staffing models

  • Growth and Scale: leadership at scale 500MM plus

  • Strong commercial awareness, design new ways to work, impactcost, effective methods to operate

  • Strong relationship building, communication andinfluencing skills, business leadership

  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communicationskills

  • Ability to interact as a peer at a senior level in client situationsand comfortable working at a senior level within complex organizations, with anability to build empathy, credibility and trust with all

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual able to communicate at alllevels, inspire, motivate

  • A minimum of 12 years experience with client facing consulting engagements

  • A minimum of 12 years experience managing multiple projects, assigning and managing work activities, meeting deadlines and developing project management reporting

  • A minimum of 12 years experience working with the design, implementation, and support of knowledge management solutions and related technologies for collaborative information sharing

  • A minimum of 12 full life cycle large project implementations

  • A minimum of 12 years experience working with current solution configuration and process

  • A minimum of 15 years in a Delivery Lead role leading a project team both onshore and offshore

  • A minimum of 15 years knowledge of integration points and the order in which they must be executed

  • A minimum of 15 years functional leadership experience in related solution

  • Proven experience managing and leading small to large teams

  • Extensive experience with management consulting or consulting services

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong executive presence and ability to interact with top executives

  • Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities

  • Bachelors Degree in a related area of study

  • 15 years of related work experience

  • MUST be willing to travel extensively, up to 100%
