As the Transit and Rail Vehicle EIT in New York City, NY, you will have the chance to be part of a team that manages tasks, budgets and the overall push to complete our client's projects on time, budget and scope. Working with other members of our team, you'll be responsible for various design and project tasks regarding rolling stock inventory for our numerous clients in the greater NYC area. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to monitor field implementation and testing activities for a range of transit vehicles, assess performance and specification compliance for vehicles and subsystems and provide engineering support in preparation of technical specifications. Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering is required
Previous internship in engineering and/or maintenance is preferred
Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Ability to demonstrate experience with project planning, scheduling, and process reporting
Experience with rolling stock procurement programs preferred
Knowledge of transit vehicle industry standards and practices
Ability to demonstrate good communication skills, detail oriented, and ability to work independently
