The Technology Portfolio Architecture Management (TPAM) team is seeking a Software Engineer to support Neo4J Database related IT projects and applications within Wells Fargo Technology Group.
Ability to translate Technical requirements into software code ( Cypher scripting) for development on Neo4J DB.
Works on supporting the Linkurious and Neo4J software components installation and configuration for enterprise scale deployment.
Works with LOB business partners as well as systems partners to identify, define and clarify requirements, as well as consulting with the development team on the viability of projects and requirements.
Provide a project sizing/estimate as required, attending project meetings to clarify technical specifications and providing development updates.
Work with the QA team to disseminate requirements, provide clarifications for ambiguity reviews, verify test scripts and test results against project requirements.
Ability to flush out root-causes, assess current state, prioritize, and recommend short-term tactical and/ or long-term strategic solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical aptitude with the ability to apply critical judgment are required.
Ability to schedule, facilitate and document meetings (requirement gathering, design, walkthrough)
Familiarity with wire framing.
Create and process project change requests when required.
Provide regular status updates to manager and business stakeholders.
Participate in testing efforts during required portions of the SDLC life cycle to ensure deliveries are complete and high quality
Perform research/analysis tasks for critical system problems to help determine a root cause
Responsibilities also include mentoring and bringing up to speeds of less experienced staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a team player who would relate well with both technical personnel and business partners.
5+ years of software engineering experience
1+ year of Cypher scripting experience on Neo4J database or similar graph database experience
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
1+ year of Java experience
3+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques
Experience supporting or directing offshore teams
Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
1+ year of Agile experience
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience in supporting enterprise infrastructure compliance lifecycle management and reporting is a plus.
