Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a motivated, results-oriented Senior IT Support Engineer to be part of a global team responsible for supporting and advancing our global corporate computing environment. ICE's IT Support group has reach into every aspect of our fast-paced, dynamic company, using cutting-edge technology and tools to provide for the needs of our users and the company as a whole. We are looking for someone who is technically proficient, has an eager attitude, a professional demeanor, and solid communication skills.

IT Support plays a part in helping all teams do their jobs better, and we collaborate with our technology leaders as they transform the world's financial markets. This Senior IT Support Engineer role will work with smart, driven colleagues, and help power our people to productivity.

Responsibilities

Desktop Support - Provide expert-level hardware, software, network, and server support for mostly Windows and some Mac devices
Support Ticket Management - Manage the IT Support queue
IT Support Systems - Enhance and day-to-day manage IT Support-owned systems
IT Solutions and Project Management - Recommend and manage implementation of new solutions to improve ICE IT environment
Access Management - Provision and manage access for all end user computing resources
Mobile Device Support - Manage Apple, Android, and other mobile devices
Purchasing - Manage the IT purchasing workflow
VMWare - Maintain virtual server environments
Broker and Trading Floor Technology Support - New York-based Senior IT Support Engineers will maintain trading floor and broker desk technology including turret phones, tablet computers, wireless networking, proprietary tools, and data display support
Expert Technical Support - Take full ownership of complex issues and act as escalation point for global IT Support team

Knowledge and Experience

Able to be a leader among peers by mentoring IT Analysts and Engineers in groups and individually
Able to effectively document and publish role and team responsibilities, technology guidance, and repeatable processes
Experience improving processes and introducing superior technology
Takes initiative to learn business goals, liaise with other departments, and identify ways to increase productivity in other ICE groups and offices
Preferred Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or related discipline
5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Windows desktop/server administration and troubleshooting
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Technical professional certifications (i.e. MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA certs, etc.)
Familiarity with macOS
Experience in an exchange, trading facility, or financial services
