The International Wealth Management Division serves private and institutional clients domiciled in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, and includes the global Asset Management franchise. In this role, you will work within the Asset Management US Investor Services team and utilize your experience in Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) to provide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) support to multiple Asset Management/IWM businesses lines:
Assist in reviewing and sharing feedback on new policies and procedures from FCC and assessing impact to CSAM
Overseeing the implementation of new FCC procedures within the First Line, including coordinating the buildout of systematic controls, training and communication
Setting up new AML/KYC procedures, operationalizing with the business, providing quality assurance and establishing a transparent metrics process
Provide ongoing KYC due diligence support for new investors in private equity and hedge funds, separate accounts and transfers of interest per the CSAM AML control framework
Provide ongoing KYC due diligence support for periodic reviews and event-based reviews per the CSAM AML control framework
Perform four-eye reviews and quality assurance on client files for onboarding, periodic reviews and event-based reviews
Work directly with clients, COO teams, Product Specialists and AM Distribution in providing KYC guidance during the prospecting and onboarding process
Help enhance the client onboarding experience with a focus on minimal touchpoints while satisfying regulatory requirements and internal AML/KYC procedures
Provide guidance and help to coordinate review and FCC approval of any enhanced due diligence associated with CSAM clients, including adverse news, sanctions, PEP’s, higher-risk client types, country risk and reputational risk
Act as project lead for CSAM on various work streams related to FCC enhancement projects; help to coordinate deliverables within the 1st Line and provide regular updates to the 2nd Line and working groups
Help coordinate FCC Controls Testing & Assurance (CTA) reviews, annual AML BSA Risk Assessment and annual AML Audit for CSAM
Coordinate deliverables and conduct weekly calls with the NY, Raleigh and Offshore Investor Services team for onboarding, periodic reviews and event-based reviews; help to manage open items and deliverables
Assist with the maintenance and monitoring of the AM AML Risk Appetite for both qualitative limits and quantitative tolerance thresholds
Manage the KYC periodic review process for high, medium and low risk clients on an ongoing basis including upcoming review timelines, investor letter preparation, client outreach and follow-up, KYC due diligence, prioritizations, critical issues and overseeing the Investor Services offshore team
Coordinate with Business Process Development Team, AM IT and the business partners on implementing any system enhancements to the CRM, workflow tool, client portals and other CSAM systems
Support the Investor Services team in assessing and building a strategic AML/KYC control framework with a focus on efficiency, process improvement, automation and improving the client experience
Help to gather metrics from various business partners and share regular, transparent MI reporting to AM senior management and FCC

Bachelor’s Degree required
Equivalent work experience of at least 7 years with Financial Services, FCC and/or Fund Administration
Equivalent experience in FCC and Customer Identification Programs. Detailed knowledge of AML, KYC, Sanctions, Adverse News Screenings, PEP reviews, Reputational Risk, AML Risk Appetites, etc. is strongly preferred
Detailed understanding of US and Cayman AML/KYC guidance in the Asset Management/Registered Investment Advisor space
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; familiar with Microsoft CRM database and business process workflow tools.
Familiar with project management plans/timelines and business requirements documents
Must possess strong communication (written and verbal) skills
Comfortable conducting calls and leading meetings, both internally and externally.
