IBM SAP Source to Pay Associate Partner (MM/Ariba) in New York, New York

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are currently seeking SAP S/4HANA MM and SAP Ariba Associate Partners to join our team, specifically to focus on supporting the growth of our SAP Source to Pay service area. This is a hands-on sales and delivery role. Responsibilities include sales attainment, providing advice & counsel to clients, oversight & accountability for delivery success, and achieving the highest level of client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth industry and business process knowledge as well as the ability to lead discussions with client decision makers to clearly demonstrate how the S/4HANA and Ariba technology can help transform their business to achieve business benefits. A successful candidate will lead sales cycles, help identify and quantify the business benefits of moving to S4/HANA and Ariba technology, as well as assist in crafting the implementation strategy, approach, timelines, and costs. Program oversight is a must.

This is a business and technology consulting role with emphasis on the business process and industry expertise. A successful candidate will also have excellent knowledge of S/4HANA and Ariba solutions, releases, roadmaps and new innovations. This role requires strong communication skills and executive presence. Proficiency in developing channel & client relationships, identifying & closing new business, developing thought leadership with industry content as well as a visionary outlook in SAP are required.

Other responsibilities:

  • Lead S/4HANA and Ariba sales and delivery engagements with an emphasis in Ariba enabled transformations

  • Attain both sales and delivery targets including bookings, revenue, profit and utilization

  • Lead S/4HANA and Ariba pursuits at new logo clients and expand penetration at existing accounts

  • Provide industry guidance, strategies, and S/4HANA + Ariba best practices

  • Build and lead internal communities of IBM source to pay practitioners

  • Define, develop and use repeatable non-traditional consulting industry solutions incorporating other IBM technologies such as Blockchain, artificial intelligence, IoT, and Cloud where needed; and

  • Transfer knowledge to local IBM teams through training and side-by-side engagement work

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience and expertise selling and overseeing SAP S/4HANA or SAP Ariba Programs and Projects

  • At least 5 years of experience of Business Development, Consulting and Delivery of SAP solutions

  • Track record of achieving individual sales quota of $8M+ annually

  • At least 5 years of experience developing Executive level relationships, with prior experience in the identification, development and closure of SAP Implementation sales efforts

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing program level engagements with multiple work-streams and client stakeholders

  • At least 10 years of experience in selling and delivery of complex consulting projects for Tier 1 consultancy

  • Functional expertise in one of the following areas: Procurement and Supply Chain with a focus on Source to Pay and the intelligent spend solutions
