FOX Project Manager in New York, New York


The FOX Network, a premier national television broadcaster, is renowned for its combination of appealing primetime entertainment and powerful sports programming. It delivers 15 hours of weekly primetime programming to 208 local market affiliates, reaching approximately 99.9% of all U.S. television households. Among 18- to 34-year-olds, the FOX Network has ranked among the top two networks in primetime entertainment for the past 23 years.

Fox Cable Network Services seeks a Project Manager to be responsible for managing technology development projects and special projects as assigned by leadership, including ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on-budget and within scope. Troubleshoot, proactively mitigate risks, and quickly resolve issues. Escalate issues when they arise as may be appropriate. Create and present status reports regularly to technology and business stakeholders. Play a key role in business change management and monitor post-implementation satisfaction. Provide subject matter expertise to improve business and system workflows. Partner closely with business partners to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from multiple stakeholders. Work closely with the development team to build a solution that meets the requirements. Create and execute functional test cases to validate the solution. Develop User Acceptance test plans and run testing with business users. Participate in creating training programs for new systems, including creating training materials for the business users, scheduling training sessions and deliver training to users. Gather and use data to track performance and constantly look for ways to make things work faster and more efficiently. Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders including business users, internal technical teams and third-party vendors. Partner with Fox Sports, Entertainment, and News teams to find innovative solutions to business problems. Coordinate with stakeholders to manage roadmaps for custom enhancements.

Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate project management or related IT experience in business analysis.

Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, plus three (3) years of project management or related IT experience in business analysis.

Experience must include two (2) years of experience working on projects from requirements gathering through Go Live; translating and communicating business requirements into functional and technical requirements; mitigating risk and resolving issues; identifying areas of improvement and enhancing process performance; performing resources management and quality control; designing test cases and performing functionality and user acceptance testing; and delivering projects on time and within scope.

*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Experience with data analysis and generating reports; 2) Liaising with technical and non-technical teams; 3) Experience working in the media industry; 4) Overseeing ad-hoc reporting and analysis initiatives; and 5) Knowledge of ServiceNow and Jira
