The Spatial Epidemiology Lab of the Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a Project Coordinator to work as a part of Dr. Duncan’s research team on the TURNNT Study, which is recruiting transgender women of color in New York City for a longitudinal study. The project coordinator will support TURNNT by interacting directly with research participants, including via recruitment, enrollment, and qualitative and quantitative interviewing. The Project Coordinator will report to the Spatial Epidemiology Lab’s Research Manager.
- Essential Functions: Coordination of activities for Lab 10% Recruiting and Interviewing Participants 70%Compliance with Institutional Review Board 10%Other related duties as assigned 10%
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience in a related field plus 2 years of related experience in an office setting is required, in addition to standard office practices.
The successful candidate must possess a high level of initiative, clear communication skills, and attention to detail in addition to a demonstrated ability to be flexible to the study’s evolving needs.
Knowledge of Redcap software strongly preferred.
Experience working with diverse populations preferred.
