Your Role and Responsibilities
Systems Management Specialist Middleware & Database Big Data Analytics.
This skill set contains the skills a z/OS systems engineer has to have regarding the use of mainframe products and processes. System Programmer (Rex, Assembler, Cobal) ZOS upgrades and Maintenance. Catalog Structure, System Maintenance, Naming Conventions (data sets, catalogs, etc). Diagnosing and debugging techniques: dumps, tracing, log analysis, NetView and IPCS. Interfacing with software vendors to pro-actively maintain a high level of support. Experienced in VTAM, TCPIP, TN3270 AT_TLS, APPN, EE, IPSEC, SMF, XCF, CF, Parallel Sysplex technology. installing, maintaining and customizing IBM and third-party software for print, session management, FTP, automation, scheduling, report viewing and distribution applications.
