CTIC is looking for a quantum algorithm implementer to work on implementation of quantum algorithms on IBM-Q quantum computer systems. You’ll work closely with our front office teams and quantum hardware and software vendors to refine our portfolio of quantum algorithms. We’re looking for people who are self-motivated, self-directed, innovative and communicative, with a great attitude and work ethic.

Mapping known quantum algorithms to the IBM-Q system
Optimizing existing quantum algorithms in our portfolio
Determining error bounds and limitations of hardware specific implementations experimentally
Working with quantum engineers to implement algorithms on the IBM-Q system
Driving technical documentation
Contributing to product planning and improvement
Required Skills/Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
Demonstrated experience in quantum information theory
Working knowledge of quantum algorithms
Success working collaboratively in a team environment
Proficient with quantum information methods
Experience working with software development teams
Working knowledge of Java, Python and C
Working knowledge of Linux
