TEKsystems Information Security Engineer in New York, New York

Our client, an international law firm in New York, is looking to hire an information security engineer on a full time basis.

This person will be part of a small team that provides information security for the global firm. They will be doing a combination of security engineering, implementing new security technologies, incident response, and security operations. This position will involve heavy SIEM administration and operations, endpoint security, and vulnerability management. This person will research new security tools, perform security product evaluations, and drive the implementation and operations of new security technologies.

Candidates need to have strong experience with SIEM administration and operations including rule creation, reporting, correlation, and performance. Experience with Qradar SIEM is highly preferred. Candidates need to be well rounded and have experience with various areas of cyber security such as vulnerability management, endpoint security, IDS/IPS, and web content filtering. Candidates need to have experience implementing security platforms and tools from scratch.

This position will start out 100% remote. Post Covid 19, this position will be at least 50% remote. The firm is offering a competitive base salary, discretionary bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package and retirement plan.
