Google Head of Enterprise Partner Sales, Google Cloud in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in channel sales.

  • 5 years of people management experience.

  • Experience with public cloud solutions across Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) markets.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA.

  • 10 years of experience in a high-performance Partner Sales Manager position.

  • Channel Sales Management or Direct Sales Management experience with experience in enterprise and partner sales.

  • Industry knowledge of System Integrators (SIs)/Service Providers (SPs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Extended knowledge of, and experience with, the cloud ecosystem.

  • Excellent technical understanding of foundational cloud technologies.

  • Excellent management, presentation and written and verbal communication skills.

On this team, you will drive Google Cloud business relationships by analyzing partner business performance, identifying methods of increasing partner and Google returns, pitching ideas to and identifying opportunities within partners, and coordinating across Google teams to deliver. As the leader for Partner Sales Managers for an assigned region, you will be responsible for building and performance managing a team of Partner Sales Managers (PSM’s). PSM’s support a named group of sales teams in driving opportunities through the use of Google partners. You will use your influencing, consulting, management and execution skills to bring a high degree of internal excellence and discipline to your team, including the execution of jointly accountable business plans with your region’s Partners. You will manage channel forecast accountability for all customer-facing opportunities in the region.

  • Recruit, retain and manage a team of PSM’s, coaching them through identifying the right Google partner for each opportunity from the portfolio of partners managed by Google.

  • Drive the weekly forecast rhythm for the Google Cloud business of assigned region, and cultivate local demand generation activities with partners through events and campaigns via an industry focused plan in coordination with partner marketing.

  • Manage relationships with sales managers across assigned region, forging connectivity between the Partner Sales Team and the Direct Sales Teams and participating in leadership conversations directly and through mandatory reporting requirements.

  • Manage the role of the partner in each opportunity together with Sales and Professional Services.

  • Manage the team-level commitments to driving forecast accuracy, partner attach in Salesforce and attribution for consumption.
