Citigroup Head of Balance Sheet and Capital Management - Global Trade in New York, New York

Balance Sheet and Capital Management is a newly formed team to increase focus on effective and efficient use of Trade balance sheet. Head of Balance Sheet and Capital Management will lead this team and will report to Global Trade COO. Key responsibilities: The key areas of responsibility of the role are: Recommend and support initiatives to drive optimal use of balance sheet taking into account and in support of Global Trade strategy Provide Trade senior management with tools & metrics necessary for measuring, monitoring returns and generally supply data to allocate capital more efficiently Work closely with Corporate Treasury on liquidity/funding needs, participate in balance sheet costing forums and discussions groups as needed Drive  regulatory & risk capital interfaces / work streams to help achieve, where possible and appropriate, favorable treatment for Trade assets Develop and roll-out model(s)  (such as loan transfer charge)  to help drive increased accountability over the delivery of cross-sell Enhance asset / RWA forecasting discipline for Trade business Development Value: Build a new team, design and help execute the key components of balance sheet management for a dynamic and growing business Develop extensive knowledge about Trade business Be part of a management team of a transforming business  Broaden network at Citi and TTS through close interaction with Trade Exco and partners Knowledge/Experience:  Bachelor Degree with at least 10 years of experience in Treasury and / or balance sheet management    Financial services industry experience required Deep knowledge of balance sheet costing, regulatory and risk capital  Strategy design and leading change Skills and Competencies Strategic and goal-oriented thinker Orchestrate and drive the successful & timely completion of goals and actions to achieve business objectives Experience in working with and ability to lead direct and indirect reports or teams Ability to lead and drive change through the organization Capacity to proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve problems Passion, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed Excellent interpersonal, influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and senior management Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to foster a co-operative and collaborative working environment ------------------------------------------------- Job Family Group: Business Strategy, Management & Administration ------------------------------------------------- Job Family: Business Administration ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
