GENERAL FUNCTION

The North America People Transformation Team works closely with corporate and local stakeholders to provide cross target regional training services on behavioral and leadership skills. Specifically, this roleis responsible to cascade the learning strategy developed by the central corporate team within the respective region by:
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
North America learning needs analysis : ensuring the learning strategy and offering will effectively bridge the gap between the employees and the business objectives , as well as encourage engagement by fulfilling employee learning desires.
Contribute to the creation of a regional learning strategy: defining people transformation learning strategy at the regional level, following the guidelines of the People Transformation corporate team, and collecting local needs from regional stakeholders, including a roll-out plan to implement the new faculty scope across the region.
Cascading and localizing global learning offering: adapting global learning programs on behavioral skills to the local culture for all target populations in scope to connect and bridge any gaps between global and local deployment levels.
Delivery: deliver training and train the trainer programs at the regional level and eventually at the global level in collaboration with the regional HR team, Luxottica University trainers, and the People Transformation corporate team
Partnership: Ensuring support to HR teams and Key Business Stakeholders for the delivery of development initiatives through Luxottica University
Experience leading and motivating a team
Proactively ensures that their team is leveraging the most current digital tools and training techniques.
Collaborates with peers on the Luxottica University team to align training with the brand position and business objectives; ensures projects are integrated and delivered within the timeline for execution and sustainment.
Leads team to gather and foster feedback from field leaders and associates, improving brand training saturation and consistent execution.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Learning, Training, or Retail Leadership
10+ years in L&D, Retail, or other related field
Recognized as a subject matter expert, who works collaboratively to bring innovative strategies, experiences, and approaches to life
Digital training and onboarding program experience
Virtual classroom design and delivery experience
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically and creatively
High level of energy and strong can-do attitude
Excellent “soft” leadership and coaching skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills; persuasive
Proven project management and multi-tasking skills
Proficiency in Windows software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
