Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions Senior Professional
In this critical role on AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, you will support the firm’s corporate development function, which includes mergers & acquisitions, corporate investments, and strategic planning.
The Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions Senior Professional is a full-time role located in New York, New York. Paid relocation is not available for this position.Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial modeling and valuation analysis in support of all growth initiatives.
Analyze investment opportunities to develop recommendations on the appropriate corporate development strategy for the Firm.
Manage and execute the M&A process for all transactions, including conducting extensive operational, financial, commercial, and legal due diligence.
Prepare presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities as identified. Qualifications/Requirements:
Undergraduate degree required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Experience in investment banking, private equity, credit investing, management consulting or other experience evaluating and executing M&A or debt transactions is highly preferred.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Proficiency in interpreting financial results and key ratios to analyze and project trends.
Possesses a strong work ethic with high personal and professional integrity; able to maintain confidentiality without exception.
Highly motivated, intelligent and organized; a self-starter with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams with poise and professionalism.
Interpersonal skills to liaise with senior management.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Must be familiar with, and promote and abide by, all Firm values as defined by the AlixPartners' Code of Conduct and in terms of Ethics, Diversity and Inclusion.
Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
