The Adult Learning and Leadership/AEGIS Program in the Department of Organization and Leadership seeks to hire two Work-Study students to support (assist) with: (1) Various projects supporting online learning and academic matters (research administration). (2) Updating student database; soft and hard copy files. (3) Webpage updates (primarily content editing). (4) Other administrative and technical support as needed.
During the program's transition to online teaching, 50-60% of the work being done by the program's work-study would be to assist the program's faculty in supporting our transition to online learning.
We need a work-study who is comfortable with supporting faculty-especially those who do not have access to a GA or CA. The ideal work-study will have skills to provide support--on Canvas; with tools for making video lessons and enriching interactivity in teaching and learning--and in projects such as website updating and supporting research activities.
The two work-study students will coordinate their schedules to be able to provide adequate online support to the program in the afternoon and evenings.
Must have been awarded federal work-study for the term in which a work-study position is being sought.
Must be a student matriculated in a TC degree program.
Must be taking at least 6 credits (or equivalent, which includes full-time equivalent offerings - HBSK 6480, CCPJ 6480, CCPX 6480, or any 8900 course).
Full-time TC employees are not eligible for this position.
