Advertised Summary Job Description A highly motivated Clinical Coordinator III is needed to support a busy inpatient and outpatient echocardiography laboratory at a large, major academic institution. The individual will primarily be responsible for stress testing in the echocardiography laboratory, and for performing injections needed for saline and contrast echocardiography studies. The Clinical Coordinator III will primarily screen patients for stress echocardiography, perform brief, focused histories and physical examinations, review pertinent lab data, insert IV access, monitor exercise stress tests, prepare and monitor infusion of agents for pharmacologic stress tests, as well as perform injections of agitated saline and contrast agents. The individual will work with the echocardiography technologists and cardiology fellows under the direction and supervision of an attending cardiologist. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications for Grade
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus four years of experience. A Master's degree can substitute for the required experience.
Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications
Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant Current IV certification, BCLS and ACLS certification with recent cardiology experience required. Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills required.
Preferred Qualifications Spanish language skills a plus. Prior experience with stress testing preferred.
