In this role you will report into our Director, Audience Engagement, Global Content Lab and execute engagement strategies across social channels within the Global Content Lab to promote growth, positively influence key partners and enhance Johnson and Johnson’s reputation as the world’s leading health care company. This includes maintaining and growing new and existing social networks including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn plus any emerging networks, while also driving engagement with social media influencers! This will all be done with the support of agency partners.
Cultivate a distinctive social voice that brings to life J&J’s goal of caring for the world one person at a time and adheres to each individual platform’s best practices.
Aid in the development and lead the implementation of corporate social media brand strategies, campaigns, and any other plans to reach goals.
Lead aspects of day-to-day management of campaigns and posts from our channels to ensure accuracy, platform best practices and brand consistency.
Work closely with JNJ.com editors and internal partners to align priorities and calendars.
Review, understand and implement campaign analytics and findings to consistently evolve and improve our engagement and click-through rates.
Plan paid social media strategies and handle budgets with our agency partners
Recommend engaging written and visual content for our social platforms and brief and manage agencies, designers and editors on execution.
Research new media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities
Provide feedback from social media trends and research; relay it to business strategists
Craft posts by writing social copy and scheduling on channels in real time and as needed
A bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
6+ years of proven experience is required.
Intimate knowledge of digital media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram is required.
Experience with emerging social platforms is preferred.
Experience running paid digital campaigns/targeting is required.
Understanding audiences related to digital and social is required.
Experience with healthcare, consumer product or personal health and wellness content preferred.
Experience working with Agencies is preferred.
Excellent sense of news judgment and awareness of external events and trends.
Experience posting multiple times a day across several social channels to drive growth.
Knowledge of best-in-class metrics reporting
Demonstrated success using data and insights from social reports to advise decision-making.
Social evangelist and enthusiast; expert knowledge of primary social channels and emerging technologies required.
Excellent writing skills, good sense of judgment and flourishes with leading multiple projects at once.
