Our Assistant Brand Marketing Manager manages the marketing efforts for the worldwide bestselling Harry Potter, Dog Man, Captain Underpants, and Hunger Games books.

Key responsibilities for this position entail brainstorming, creating and implementing year-long marketing campaigns across all Scholastic channels; interfacing with the in-house sales, editorial, and creative departments; balancing a yearly marketing budget and presenting at internal meetings.

Also key to this position is close partnership with outside social media and promotional agencies.


  • At least three years of publishing and/or media agency experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong social media channel management and knowledge of social media trends

  • Great multitasking skills

  • Creative eye and ability to think out of the box

  • BS Degree preferred not required
