Supports the Department of Risk Management to ensure program goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time-frame and funding parameters.
Liaises with relevant departments and outside parties to ensure information provided is comprehensive and received in timely manner.
Plans and organizes relevant meetings and conference calls, reviews meeting materials, and prepares presentations, when necessary.
Performs special projects and prepares data analysis reports for management.
Collaborates to ensure the operations of Captive Insurers.
Coordinates with relevant parties and providers to ensure prompt actions supporting Insurer's operations.
Coordinates malpractice payments, when applicable.
Assesses operational performance and recommends corrective plans of action when necessary.
Maintains the Risk Management Information System.
Maintains the database, and works with the vendor to update features and capabilities, as needed.
Works with internal and external resources to improve the departmental data analysis. 6. Reports status of projects, maintains appropriate files, follows-up on tasks and open items.

ADA Essential Functions
Bachelor Degree required, a Masters Degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years experience medical malpractice claims administration, and/or clinical background preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Project Management applications
