Position Overview
We are looking for an energetic professional to partner across the enterprise as a HR Generalist/HR Business Partner, a role focused on supporting and engaging our most important asset…. Our teams! The HRG/HRBP must be effective at formulating strong partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for employee relation activities for the organization, provide support, advice, assistance and follow up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquires. Identifies trends issues and recommends course of action. Other areas include performance management; benefits; leaves; disability; recognition; training; organizational development; communication; coaching; team building and leadership.

The Human Resource Generalist/HR Business Partner is primarily responsible for:
Client Group HR Services: Provide strategic and tactical HR support to assigned business units in areas of onboarding, employee relations performance management, management training and coaching.
Independently manages and resolves heavy day-to-day volume of hands-on employee relations issues.
Uphold organizational culture by addressing employee relations issues quickly and consistently.
Ensure Sales Compensation Plans are distributed, signed and collected upon hire and an annual basis as needed.
Onboarding: Increase speed of new hire performance by building and facilitating comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires.
Design and facilitate company-wide new hire orientation program on a bi-weekly basis.
Onboard new managers in business units relative to management programs, policies and processes.
Performance Management: Up-level organizational talent through proactive coaching in hiring and performance management. Proactively coach managers on addressing performance issues and managing underperformers.
Lead the rollout and execution of annual and mid-year performance review programs for assigned business units.
Ensure complete and accurate goals are loaded into the HR System (HRZone/UltiPro).
Deliver training to managers to ensure high quality performance review delivery
Facilitate calibration sessions at director levels as requested.
Drive programs to 100% completion within program timeframes.
Lead annual merit review programs for assigned departments as applicable.
Ensure compliance with budget and alignment with performance
Perform adverse impact analysis to ensure just allocation of dollars
Retention and Engagement: Partner with leadership teams to address and improve retention and build highly engaged teams.
Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies
Conduct exit interviews and facilitate the exit survey process to gather exit feedback. Publish quarterly turnover report with recommendations for improvement.
Work with management to stay abreast of ongoing needs and “at risk” employees
Assist with other generalist activities, as assigned
Maintain employee engagement surveys and manager dashboards
Manage relocation and immigration programs
We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills
EDUCATION/ Certifications/Licenses/Etc.:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP Certification desired
Minimum 5 years human resources experience, with at least 3 years in a Tech Environment supporting high volume recruiting or similar environment
HRIS Experience - ADP experience a must have
Supporting a Call Center environment in a high volume setting
Strong understanding of Union Labor and Union labor laws
Robust understanding of Employee Relations and ability to provide direction and oversight to employee related matters i.e. PTO/FMLA, employee grievance resolution, retention and attrition programs, unemployment claims through third party
Managed Services Experience in a high tech environment for large customers
Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to excellent service delivery.
Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including benefit and compensation practices, organization diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management and federal & state employment laws.
Technology Focus & Requirements
Human Resource Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems experience such as: Jobvite, ADP and Qualtrics
