Job Description

Maintains and records cash deposit and banking activity. Performs data entry. Queries reports. Verifies, reviews and files bank activity for specific accounts

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performs banking activities per established bookkeeping procedures:

  • Runs, downloads and records daily reports from different bank websites.

  • Identifies, validates and reconciles daily activity from various sources.

  • Confirms daily deposits from multiple sites have been deposited into the correct bank account and location.

  • Keys daily batches into computerized system.

  • Troubleshoots and investigates various account activities, as needed.

  • Interacts with department heads via phone or email.

  • Validates and reviews credit card activity on a daily basis.

  • Prepares monthly journal entries for cash activity.

  • Assists with monthly reconciliation, as needed.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

  • Prior bookkeeping and/or banking reconciliation experience, preferred.

  • Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and meet timely deadlines.

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
