Citigroup VP, Small Business CCAR Project Manager in Long Island City, New York

Position Objective: Global Small Business Banking (SBB) is a $10 billion loan portfolio focusing on clients in Korea, Mexico, India and the U.S. , with annual sales up to $10 million and borrowing needs up to $3 million. This role will primarily serve as the Project Manager & Production Lead for CCAR / DFAST for the Small Business Workstream, responsible for Small Business's semi-annual stress test (14A) submissions.  In this capacity, the Project Manager will manage multiple high priority and visible projects; develop, implement and execute both technical and non-technical process improvements; organize cross-functional teams; conduct analytics; and support governance activities. Summary of Responsibilities: In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, this position will: 1)  Lead other non-CCAR strategic initiatives in the Global SBB Risk Office, as necessary. 2)  Report to the Global SBB Risk Head within the Global Commercial Independent Risk organization. 3)  Work closely with all members of the Global SBB Risk team, especially the Workstream Lead and Executive Sponsor for CCAR / DFAST. 4)  Interface with all levels of Commercial Risk staff (including seniors) around the globe, as well as Risk, Capital Planning, Technology and FCR / Audit partners outside Commercial Risk and across Citi. Because CCAR / DFAST is a critical regulatory initiative with increasing complexity and demands, this role will require strong hands-on project management capabilities, including analytical, organizational, communication and influencing skills. Development Value: The intention is to provide a well-balanced knowledge base that will ultimately increase professional flexibility, backup coverage and exposure to all tasks within both this and other teams in the Global Office.  As a key part of a growing business, the Risk organization will provide the candidate a rich spectrum of opportunities for further career progression in both commercial and broader risk management.  Technical Skills: 1)  Highly proficient in database management, including ability to work with large data sets. 2)  Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint). 3)  Strong quantitative skills, including basic knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, credit analytics, statistics and risk modeling. 4)  Basic knowledge of credit and banking products. 5)  Basic knowledge of credit risk management concepts and regulatory environment spanning both commercial delinquency-managed (Retail) and classifiably-managed (Wholesale) portfolio management. Non-Technical Skills: 1)  BS or BA and Risk Management experience preferred. 2)  Strong organizational skills in demanding environment, including ability to work independently, prioritize workload, demonstrate attention to detail and meet deadlines. 3)  Strong written and verbal skills, including ability to communicate concisely and clearly. 4)  Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work in teams as well as willingness to take initiative, learn quickly and expand responsibilities rapidly. ------------------------------------------------- Job Family Group: Risk Management ------------------------------------------------- Job Family: Credit & Portfolio Risk Management ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
