Hours: 7:30a-3:30p, 8-4p, 8:30-4:30, 9-5p, 10-6


Performs all secretarial functions necessary to facilitate the smooth running of Primary Care Center. This includes: telephone coverage and messages; greeting and registration of patients; scheduling of patients and monitoring of schedules to ensure appropriate patient flow, scheduling of all diagnostic tests and referrals ordered by the physician; reviewing of insurance coverage and collection of patient balances/co-pays, maintenance of medical records; knowledge of and compliance with managed care regulations; and the ability to work well with others in a complex, fast paced setting.



  • High School or equivalent required

  • Associate's Degree preferred

  • A.A.S. in secretarial science or related field


  • One (1) year of secretarial/clerical experience required

  • Five (5) years of secretarial/clerical experience in a Physician's Office including word processing and filing preferred
