Dunkirk. Grant Support Specialist, full time 35 hours per week

Position Summary Assist the Director of Grants and Systems Compliance in researching available public and private grant funding opportunities and preparing formal proposals for funding. Participates in the development of agency Annual Report, Community Needs Assessment, and newsletters; assists in preparing, proofreading, and editing agency documents and marketing materials. Responsible for clerical activities in support of primary activities maintaining up to date files, scheduling meetings. Minimum Qualifications Associates degree required Bachelors degree preferred. One year writing experience required. Grant writing experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of budgeting. Knowledge of human service needs and services in Chautauqua County helpful. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to research data and statistics. Excellent organizational skills maintaining files, organizing meetings. Must be able to provide consistent even tempered customer service at all times. Valid drivers license. Ability to travel throughout the county. Ability to lift 50 lbs
