This position will allow remote within 50 miles of an Anthem office

with Ingenio office locations preferred:

Atlanta, GA / Chicago, IL / Las Vegas, NV / Louisville, KY / Mason, OH / Minneapolis/Minnetonka, MN / Morristown, NY / St. Louis, MO / Virginia Beach, VA / Wallingford, CT

The Client Manager is responsible for all client management efforts including: strategic planning, consulting on optimal IngenioRx Medical Specialty Pharmacy program design to fulfill the client's business objectives, supporting program implementations and communicating program performance. Additionally responsible for partnering with internal resources to ensure medical specialty pharmacy programs deliver service excellence.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Drives client management and planning, including understanding program value, vision, and measures of success.

  • Acts as the primary client partner for solution implementation and client service.

  • Monitors, manages, and communicates IngenioRx’s overall value and proposition.

  • Acts as a trusted advisor for clients, proactively identifying opportunities to address client objectives (e.g., improve cost of care for their members).

  • Partners with UM operations team to promote client satisfaction, retention and drive enhanced value to the client.


This is not a people leader Mgr role but will operate as an individual contributor without direct reports

  • Requires a BA/BS

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • 2 years Specialty Pharmacy required.

  • Experience in provider network management, health benefits management, care management, or call centers in health care industry preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to serving clients.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with both internal, external and vendor partners.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Experience with health plan management (medical side) preferred.

  • Knowledge of Medical specialty preferred.
