Description of Duties
The Clinical Pharmacist - Investigational Drug Services provides clinical and operational support for the Investigational Drug Service (IDS); assumes responsibility for medication management for patients enrolled in research studies.
Applicants must have a License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York and Doctor of Pharmacy degree; or a Master’s degree and the equivalent of one year of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience; or a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of three of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience. The preferred candidate will have three years hospital pharmacy experience, pharmacy operations and clinical experience, and oncology experience IDS experience. They will also have patient counseling skills and experience knowledge of the electronic medical records.
