Aleron Account Manager in Buffalo, New York

Acara Solutions is hiring an Account Manager for a rapidly growing video systems and access control integration company located in Williamsville, NY. The Account Manager is responsible for exceeding sales revenue goals, developing and maintaining valued customer relationships, expanding the company’s customer base and developing and maintaining professional selling skills.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for servicing existing client base while generating new business to expand current customer base
Responsible for lead generation and marketing
Provide timely and accurate response to customer’s required proposal and/or bid circumstance
Responsible for writing and submitting professional proposals
Follow up on all sales leads in a timely and effective manner
Acquire and maintain sound knowledge of all product lines and services offered
Promote the company and its products and services
Track and provide accurate sales information for company management
Provide accurate and timely submittal of sales orders and job notes to appropriate order processing and technical staff
Make necessary sales presentations to customers and management as requested
Consistently work with management to develop a competitive pricing structure
Effectively communicate both verbally and non-verbally with internal and external contacts
Responsible for carrying out all company goals and objectives, established by Management, as it relates to this position.
Must visit existing customer base in territory at least once every 90 days and provide documentation to management on visits.
Track all sales opportunities in Sales Force.
Assists with planning and works at trade shows as required by management.
Participates in sales pipeline meetings and provides data related to sales forecasting.
Reliability and Attendance - begin work on time and conform to work hours and schedule. Unscheduled sick/personal time does not exceed established company standards.
Frequent travel; a sales account manager is out in the assigned sales territory the majority of the time
Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned by the President or Vice President
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of Account Management/Inside Sales experience .
Associate's Degree in Buisness or related field.
Minimum 2 years working with Salesforce or other CRM System.
Minimum 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) in a professional setting.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Strong written and verbal skills
Highly organized with very effective time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
