U.S. Bank Retail Asset Design Manager in Albany, New York

Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project. Manages performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance. *For this position we are open to potential relocation or remote work arrangement.

  • Overall responsibility for consumer and business banking to develop features and designs for new and remodeled RETAIL locations, including retail offices for mortgage, wealth, and business banking.

  • Partners with corp. real estate to Develop and deploy a universal design standards program to guide new RETAIL development, and updates and renovations to existing branches.

  • Provides requirements for design vendors and manages the RFP process for new experience design solutions aligned with the consumer strategy

  • Incorporates specific features that relate to attributes from enterprise priority customer segmentation

  • Utilizes CUSTOMER feedback to routinely measure, learn, and iterate continuous improvements.

  • Utilizes EMPLOYEE feedback to routinely measure, learn, and iterate continuous improvements.

  • Incorporates strategic planning objectives for retail distribution into the design process (transaction migration leveraging investments in mobile banking, advisory center for high value interactions, and community rooms for local engagement).

  • Develops a portfolio of marketing and branding solutions, including digital marketing concepts

  • Develops a portfolio of technology solutions, including mobility tools like tablets and scanners

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

  • Two or more years of managerial experience

  • Expert knowledge of assigned business line or functional area

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Advanced knowledge of project management

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
