*This position is payrolled via payroll processing provider.
•Help lead the effort to expand and improve ML infrastructure and data pipeline.
•Collaborate with teams of researchers to design and train ML models.
•Invent new techniques when necessary to deal with the specific semiconductor problems.
•Assist R automatic report writing, improving methods and aggregation.
•Assist designing SQL queries automating data extraction from a SQL Server.
•Pursuing Master's degree or PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, or related technical/scientific field preferred.
•U.S. work authorization is required.
•Very strong coding skills with Python and/or R, including experience developing and deploying large software projects.
•Deep experience with applying one or more major ML packages (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) to very large data sets.
•Experience working with large data sets (> 1TB) and using big data solutions such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Storm, MongoDB etc.
•Experience specifically with deep learning (e.g., CNN, RNN, LSTM) and NLP frameworks.
•Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, etc. and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
•Experience with Microsoft VBA, SQL (or similar) and data visualization tools, such as Tableau is a plus.
•A desire to push the boundaries of ML to better deal with the specific problems.
•Ability to work 20-40 hours/week for duration of minimum 6 months required.
