Health Research, Inc. Evaluation Specialist III in Albany, New York

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of experience in the evaluation and/or analysis of health, human services or relate programs and/or fields; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of such experience.

The incumbent in this position will be required to have a telephone/mobile device, and internet access.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, a related social/behavioral science or a related field. Experience in data collection and evaluation of data for review and analysis of public health program areas. Experience in data analysis using SAS, SPSS, R, Excel and/or other analytical and data management tools. Experience working with large population-based data sets. Experience with survey development. Experience in project management. Experience with quality improvement methodologies; Grant and or scientific report writing experience.

The Evaluation Specialist III will coordinate and/or lead evaluation project activities within the Center for Program Development, Implementation, Research and Evaluation, responsible for the development and implementation of program evaluation projects in the areas of HIV/AIDS and quality improvement. The incumbent will coordinate and/or lead all phases of the complete evaluation research process, including problem definition, planning, implementation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of findings; produce original manuscripts for journal publication and posters/abstracts for conference presentations; supervise staff and perform other appropriate related duties.

Conditions of Employment
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
